This store was conceived to match the theme and concepts of the Cambridge store. Custom designed display and display systems. Utilizing the same custom designed fixture system as the Cambridge store uses, an endless variety of display options were possible in a very efficient use of space. Threaded pipe flanges were embedded at intervals in two strips on the length of the wall. Custom built fixtures attached to the flanges in any combination allowing for easy merchandising and reconfiguring. The warm coloring of new flooring and use of birch faced plywood cast a comfortable glow on the whole store. The store started as an empty shell and was modified with new larger windows in the front, custom displays, new lighting and new custom fabricated checkout counter.
